# Terms of Service — Firewall Ejector Seat

**Draft version 0.1 — NOT yet reviewed by counsel. Do not deploy to production until an IP / tech transactions attorney reviews and approves this text.**

Last updated: 2026-06-09

By uploading a configuration file to firewallejectorseat.com (the "Service"), operated by n2nhu lab ("we", "us"), you ("Customer") agree to these terms.

## 1. What the Service Does

The Service accepts a SonicWall SonicOS configuration export and produces a WatchGuard Fireware XML configuration intended to be loaded onto a compatible WatchGuard Firebox appliance. The Service is an automated translation tool. It does not provide migration consulting, deployment assistance, or operational support.

## 2. Customer Warranties

By using the Service, Customer represents and warrants that:

- Customer is the lawful owner of the configuration file, or has explicit authorization from the lawful owner to convert it.
- Customer is authorized to migrate the underlying network configuration from SonicWall to WatchGuard.
- The configuration file contains no data Customer is prohibited from sharing with third parties under any contractual or regulatory obligation (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, customer NDAs, etc.).
- Customer will independently verify the output before deploying it to any production system.

## 3. Data Handling

- Uploaded files are processed in an ephemeral, isolated sandbox.
- Files are destroyed automatically after the download link expires (15 minutes by default) or after the converted file is downloaded once.
- We do not retain uploaded configurations beyond the active conversion session.
- We do not log the contents of uploaded files. Operational telemetry (timestamps, byte counts, exit codes, redacted error messages) may be retained for service quality purposes.
- Output files are available via a single-use, time-limited download link. After expiry or first download, the output is destroyed.

## 4. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

THE OUTPUT IS A MECHANICAL TRANSLATION. IT MAY OMIT, MISCONSTRUE, OR INCORRECTLY HANDLE CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC POLICIES, EDGE CASES, OR VENDOR-SPECIFIC FEATURES. CUSTOMER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THE OUTPUT IN A NON-PRODUCTION LAB ENVIRONMENT BEFORE PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENT.

WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATION THAT THE OUTPUT WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY WATCHGUARD APPLIANCE, WILL FUNCTION AS THE CUSTOMER INTENDS, OR WILL PRESERVE ALL SECURITY POLICIES PRESENT IN THE INPUT.

## 5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT CUSTOMER PAID FOR THE INDIVIDUAL CONVERSION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR NETWORK OUTAGES, WHETHER ARISING UNDER CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY.

## 6. Vendor Trademarks

"SonicWall", "SonicOS", "WatchGuard", "Fireware", and "Firebox" are trademarks of their respective owners. Use of these names herein is descriptive and nominative; no affiliation, endorsement, or partnership is implied or claimed.

## 7. Payment and Refunds

- Payment is authorized when Customer initiates a conversion and captured only when the conversion completes successfully (exit code 0 from the toolkit).
- If the conversion fails for any reason, the payment authorization is voided and Customer is not charged.
- No refunds are offered for successfully completed conversions whose output Customer subsequently determines to be unsuitable. Customer accepts the risk of mechanical translation imperfection in exchange for the per-conversion price.

## 8. Acceptable Use

Customer may not:
- Use the Service to convert configurations Customer is not authorized to migrate
- Attempt to overload, probe, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service
- Use the Service to extract, exfiltrate, or stage stolen credentials or network topology
- Resell or redistribute the Service or its output as Customer's own product

## 9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New York State, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

## 10. Changes

We may revise these terms. Continued use of the Service after revision constitutes acceptance.
